Your Fraser Explorer Island Safarii adventure begins with a courtesy bus pick up at the Hervey Bay coach terminal at 9am or from your accommodation, taking you direct to Fraser Island on the Fraser Explorer vehicle and passenger ferry from River Heads.

A 30 minute cruise across the Great Sandy Straits, with top deck views for miles.

Meet your friendly and very experienced Fraser Island guide and hop aboard a 4WD safari vehicle.
Within 10 minutes you are among Fraser Island’s most splendid rainforest. A stop at Central Station is followed by a guided, short 15 minute walk or an hour’s hike to Pile Valley (depending on how fit you feel) along Wanggoolba Creek with its crystal waters and special vegetation - dense palms, unique ferns and forest giants that only grow on Fraser Island.

Your drive will continue to the island’s famous 75 Mile Beach and, after being shown to your motel unit, you will lunch on a hot and cold buffet at Eurong Beach Resort, right on the beach front.
After lunch you will visit Lake Wabby, a jewel of a lake with a huge sandblow dropping sheer into it, for an afternoon of hiking, swimming, relaxing and exploring.
